Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 October 2026
Overview
CaliCodex is designed to work without an account or online service. Training, skill, progress, badge, and performance information entered into the app is stored locally on your device.
Data collected by the app
CaliCodex does not collect or transmit personal data or usage data to the developer.
The app does not use:
- user accounts or authentication;
- advertising;
- analytics or behavioural tracking;
- third-party tracking technologies;
- location data;
- contact lists; or
- remote servers for storing your CaliCodex training data.
Data stored on your device
Information you enter into CaliCodex, including performance records, skill progress, configuration choices, badges, and training history, is stored locally on your device.
CaliCodex does not keep a developer-accessible copy of this information. If the app and its local data are deleted, CaliCodex support cannot recover your training history. In some circumstances, app data may be included in backups managed by Apple and your device settings, as described below.
Device backups
Your operating system or Apple account settings may include app data in device or cloud backups. These backups are controlled by Apple and by your device settings. CaliCodex does not operate its own cloud backup service and the developer does not receive your backed-up training data.
Support communications
If you contact CaliCodex support by email, the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and any attachments, will be received for the purpose of responding to your request.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain appropriate support records, or meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
Website
The CaliCodex website does not use advertising or first-party analytics to track visitors. The website is hosted using a third-party hosting provider, which may process standard technical information such as IP addresses and request logs as necessary to provide and secure the hosting service.
Sharing and sale of data
CaliCodex does not sell personal information. App training data stored locally on your device is not shared with the developer or advertisers.
Your choices
Because CaliCodex training data is stored locally, you control it through the app and your device. You can remove locally stored data by using available app controls or by deleting the app and its associated local data.
For information you have voluntarily provided through support email, you may contact us to request deletion where applicable.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if CaliCodex features or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
